Family Photos

Hello friend. Are you well?

We've had a lot going on at the studio this week - not least with all our photoshoots. We've had our biggest photoshoot to date - with 5 adults, 6 little ones and a newborn baby all at the same time! We did it though and will have photos soon to follow! The wee baby's name was Ross, so naturally my husband thought this was an excellent choice of baby name (being his namesake and all!)

In the studio itself, our new sofa has finally arrived! It certainly took its time! But it's definitely pulled the whole feel of our studio together now. It's sitting proudly on our gorgeous new laminate flooring, expertly fitted by Laurian Flooring. We also have our lovely new hot drinks machine and baby changing station. As well as all this - our super duper exciting new projector system so we can show families their images in true cinematic style when they come back to order their products.

Perhaps most exciting of all this week though, we had Gary Hill up doing some training with us. Gary is from Lancashire (NOT Yorkshire! Apparently you'd be ill advised to muddle those up! Haha!) and he is incredibly talented at what he does. Ross and I spent an intense but wonderful day picking up loads of new skills and tricks. Gary spent the afternoon with us and our very lucky competition winners - Laurie and her stunning wee family. Seriously, these guys knew how to work the camera and we were convinced that Gary must have taken them aside previous to the session to give them the heads up, they were that good. We had great fun with Laurie, Ian and their two lovely little ones - Ava and Aiden. So we thought we'd take this opportunity to share some of their images with you now....
